The high altitude hiking area Wildkogel, which is easily accessible with the Wildkogelbahn, offers numerous hiking routes and summit experiences. Family-friendly circular trails, the large adventure playground right by the mountain station, the slide trail and the mountain cart route are ideal for hikes with children. In Untersulzbachtal, you can explore the Untersulzbach waterfall natural monument or the Hochfeld show mine. The Obersulzbachtal also offers great hikes and interesting themed trails, e.g. the Venedigerweg or the impressive Gletscherlehrweg. The trail to the Großvenediger, Salzburg's highest mountain, also leads through the Obersulzbachtal valley.
Leisurely hikes in the Kitzbühel Alps in the Trattenbach or Dürnbach Valley round off the offer. The Hohe Tauern Panorama Trail, which connects the high-altitude hiking trails around the Wildkogel Arena to form one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in the Alps, also runs along here.
