On the (e-)bike on tour
A total of 800 km of mountain bike tours with views of the mighty glaciers between the Großglockner and Großvenediger ensure fun on two wheels in the Hohe Tauern National Park vacation region.
In addition to numerous mountain bike trails to explore, there are also guided tours where you can get to know the idyllic nature around Neukirchen with a guide. The tours range from leisurely family routes along the Tauern Cycle Path to routes that are ideal for riding on an e-bike to challenging tours that require a certain level of fitness.
The Bike Trail “Wildkogel”, which leads from Neukirchen via the Gensbichl valley station to the Wildkogelbahn mountain station, is perfect for e-bikers. Der Trail weist eine maximale Steigung von 13 % auf. All e-bikers can charge their batteries at the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahn in the Bergrestaurant.
Ideal for families and leisurely cyclists is the Tauern Cycle Path in the valley, which leads along the Salzach through the idyllic landscape.
